Skilled Trades Supervisor

About the role

The Skilled Trades Supervisor Ipf Power And Water is responsible for leading the power plant operations team to support University mission and goals, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop dispatch and operating instructions, monitor operations, conduct inspections, and improve reliability and efficiency.
• Communicate with staff and address issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies.
• Improve operating procedures and control room practices.
• Train and qualify operation staff.
• Complete operational and administrative documentation.
• Recruit and train operation staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical generation, steam generation, and related equipment.
• Experience supervising in the power industry.
• Ability to communicate and manage effectively.
• Experience in labor relations and writing operating procedures.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field.

Pay

$94,200 - $115,100 annually depending on experience.
