About the role

As a Skilled Trades Specialist, you will perform a wide variety of troubleshooting, repair, and programming functions related to production equipment, plant facilities, and environmental systems.

Work environment includes dust, fumes, noise, and seasonal temperature/humidity fluctuations. Some facilities are climate-controlled. You must comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and meet the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, program, install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production processes and specialized equipment involving:
• Instruments/Vision Systems (specification, design, and programming)
• Process Control and Networking
• Electrical Theory (wiring and power distribution)
• Electronics (computers, PLCs, and DCs)
• Motor Programming
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Power Transmission, Lubrication, and Pumps
• Mechanical Operations
• Motors, Automation, and Robotics (programming, maintenance, and repair)
• Paint Oven Process (heating, controls, and troubleshooting)
• Burner Controls, Heated Oil Systems, Heating Units, and Controls

Requirements

• Preferably a minimum of 6 years of experience in an industrial or military setting focusing on electro-mechanical maintenance, electrical and power distribution, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical equipment, motor controls, drives, and programmable controllers.
• No prior education or training is required, but you must successfully meet the benchmark of a skill assessment.
