Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare materials needed for course instruction, labs, testing, supplies;
- Provide basic lab maintenance and track inventory of equipment and tools utilized;
- Familiar with NEC code book as appropriate;
- Relate instruction and material to course objectives;
- Discuss and demonstrate workplace safety, personal safety and power/hand tool safety;
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with students, other faculty and staff;
- Submit grades, attendance, reports and records in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of professional level industry experience in electrical, HVAC, low voltage, carpentry, construction, or plumbing trades;
- Safety Awareness and knowledge of NEC Code book as appropriate;
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, terminology, tools and equipment used in the trade;
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman/Master or other industrial licensure;
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30 preferred.
Pay
$45/hour
Schedule
This position requires some regular in-person presence on campus or at alternative locations, depending on business needs of the office. Hours Per Week: days/evenings/weekends
