Skilled Trade Positions- Pascagoula

About the role

A Shipfitter A (1st class), Quality Control Technician A, Heat Straightener B, Electrician A, Scaffold Carpenter A, Pipefitter A, Test & Trials Worker (Electrical), and Welder Lead B positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipfitting tasks including layout, cutting, and assembly of steel components.
• Operate quality control equipment to ensure product meets specifications.
• Use heat straightening equipment to correct irregularities in metal surfaces.
• Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Construct scaffolding and work at heights as necessary.
• Assemble and install pipe systems according to blueprints and specifications.
• Conduct tests and trials on electrical systems to ensure proper function.
• Lead and supervise other workers in their tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of shipfitting techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in operating various tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Completion of relevant training programs.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Skills

• Proficiency in using shipfitting tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Schedule
