About the work

This is a long-term trade career path in historic restoration. You’ll learn specialized skills in roofing and masonry restoration that go beyond standard construction work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and repair of slate, tile, and metal roofing systems
• Work on historic buildings, churches, and specialty structures
• Learn hands-on trade skills in roofing and restoration
• Support skilled crews with materials, setup, and site work
• Grow into advanced craftsmanship roles over time

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Willingness to learn a skilled trade
• Able to travel for specific projects as needed
• Construction, landscaping, warehouse, or general labor experience is a plus

Qualifications

• No roofing or masonry experience required—we will train the right candidates
