Skilled Nursing Facility Regional Director of Operations

About the Role

Executive Search Network/Platinum Staffing is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations of five Skilled Nursing Facilities in Portland, Maine. As a key member of our executive team, you will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and improving patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of facility administrators and department heads, focusing on census, revenue enhancement, quality mix, and contract labor reduction.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to increase operational efficiency and improve facility performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with feeder hospitals, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
• Recruit, hire, and terminate employees as necessary, with a focus on fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee overall personnel management, including restructuring departments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with MaineCare and PDPM regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing home management or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in operations management, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and patient care.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of over 700 employees.
• "Take charge" attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with MaineCare and PDPM regulations is a plus.
