Skilled Mixers- Commissary

About the role

The Bakery Mixer completes production required by mixing the items requested for the day. This associate is accountable for following recipes, completing batch tickets, and collecting the data required for each batch time. In addition, the Bakery Mixer communicates all production issues to management.

Responsibilities

• Mix ingredients on any line.
• Follow recipes provided.
• Understand ingredient functionality and batch specifications, such as temperature, time, etc.
• Consistently produce quality batches.
• Able to incorporate rework as needed.
• Follow recipes provided by company.
• Assist other associates of the team to ensure production is completed.
• Train new mixers as needed.
• Keep a clean area while working.
• Complete and maintain required paperwork.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ensure all safety procedures are being followed.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Present favorable impression in dress, personal hygiene and business attitude.
• Restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and to maintain the lowest supply cost.
• Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark downs or property defacement.
• Other duties assigned by management.

Schedule

• Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
