About the role

Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Skilled Maintenance Operator is responsible for all aspects of the equipment operation, inspection and maintenance, as well as daily documentation in maintenance logs. May be required to drive between multiple campuses as needed. Will be working with electrical, HVAC, plumbing. Will be required to be on call.

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain hospital equipment
  • Document daily activities in maintenance logs
  • Drive between multiple campuses as needed
  • Work with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
  • Be available for on-call duties

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education
  • Completion of technical courses preferred
  • Minimum 3 years previous hospital facilities maintenance experience preferred

Qualifications

  • Stationary engineer, boiler certification, HVAC, or other applicable trade certification or license with experience preferred
  • Universal EPA license preferred
  • Valid Texas Driver’s license required
