Responsibilities
- Support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects
- Perform manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites using hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks
- Work in outdoor utility construction sites
- Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site each day
- Build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
- Learn and train to use various kinds of tools and equipment
Requirements
- Safety is a part of your day-to-day work
- Track record of completing work with a high level of quality
- Knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach
- Looking for long-term projects
- Enjoy working hands-on with your team
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT med card for driving purposes (CDL preferred; MVR review required, must meet company standards for a safe driving record)
- Desire to learn the telecom construction trade to advance your career (e.g., Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling)
- Want to make an impact in your local community and prefer being home daily

Pay
$16–$18 per hour.
