Skilled Labor- Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Check and stack tubes and finished bags onto pallets in the Bottoming/Tubing departments.
• Ensure all quality aspects are adhered to and complete finishing by positioning a corrugated cover over the pallet.
• Reposition bags and tubes as needed, including rework and liner insertion.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand production orders and quality specifications.
• Communicate effectively with team members and prepare accurate records.
• Have basic mathematics skills and good visibility for inspections.
• Be able to lift a “hand” of bags/tubes weighing a maximum of 50 pounds and maneuver a paste-pan weighing up to 100 pounds once per week.
• Work 92% of the time standing or walking, exerting 15 lbs. force to pull a pallet off a stack and slide it along the floor.
• Follow safety policies, ensuring guards are in place, following lock-tag-try procedures, observing hazards, and maintaining a clean work area according to SQF standards.
• Report any potential quality or food safety issues to supervisors or management.
• Backup other Production Specialists in case of absence.
