Skilled Labor Float - VN (Cheese Room Operator)

Job Responsibilities

• Setting, cutting, cooking, and transferring of cottage cheese vats according to plant SOPs for each step.
• Understanding and performing CIP all circuits in cheese operation and whey transferring.
• Having general knowledge of the blending deck operation and working in conjunction with Blending Deck Operators to ensure an efficient operation.
• Maintaining all documented information as per SQF requirements.
• Keeping all work areas neat and clean at all times, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements.
• Understanding and following all safety procedures, always wearing proper PPE, and never putting oneself or other employees in harm’s way.
• Staying until job is completed or relieved.
• Performing any other assignments by a Supervisor or Foreman.

Requirements

• Self-driven and capable of advancing career as a high-impact player on a team.
• Must have the ability to CIP all circuits in cheese operation and whey transferring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $26.32 - $26.32 USD once deemed qualified as a Cheese Room Operator, the hourly pay rate will increase to $27.07/hour.
