This SkillBridge opportunity is with Raytheon. Fellows will not receive compensation during the fellowship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. Upon successful completion, fellows will be well-prepared and encouraged to apply for open positions at RTX.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces
- Must be eligible to participate per DoD Instruction 1322.29
- Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date
- Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve test failures to the component level
- Document test procedures and results accurately
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes and methodologies
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment
- Communicate work status effectively to team members and support staff
Qualifications
You Must Have
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a testing environment
- Experience with testing equipment and software
We Prefer
- Experience in conducting tests and documenting results
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with engineering teams and document procedures
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
