Responsibilities
- Support the child/youth in developing and applying functional skills within their natural environment.
- Foster the growth of age-appropriate skills that enhance personal development and community engagement.
- Enhance the child/youth’s social and interpersonal abilities through targeted interventions.
- Deliver services in both individual and group settings throughout the community.
- Engage with the child/youth across various environments, including their home, school, workplace, social settings, and the agency's facility.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services in compliance with Medicaid billing requirements and agency policies.
- Cookplicate with other service providers involved in the child/youth’s treatment plan to support ongoing care and planning.
- Apply culturally competent and trauma-informed practices in all aspects of service delivery.
- Participate in weekly supervision meetings with the assigned supervisor for guidance and professional development.
Qualifications
- A minimum of High School Diploma, GED, or Technical school is required.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children or youth.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable private transportation that meets Salvation Army insurance requirements.
Pay
$23.00/hour

Part-time, up to 29 hours per week
