About the role
The Chrysalis House Skill Builders will engage and establish mutually respectful, trusting relationships with the youth they serve. They will utilize a strength-based, trauma-informed approach to working with youth and coordinate life skills programming and parenting education curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Crisis intervention and response
- Conduct on-going assessments of participants' life skills and parenting education needs
- Implement life skills training and parenting education curriculum
- Incorporate Chrysalis House philosophy and effective teaching approaches
- Transport program participants, as required and consistent with agency policies
- Maintain clear professional boundaries
- Promote strength-based, trauma-informed service delivery (youth leadership, asset development)
- Manage group dynamics and demonstrate various intervention techniques
- Maintain accurate and up to date client records
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Human Services, and 1 year experience OR Bachelors Degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Schedule
Shift 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Shift 2: Monday, Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
