Ski Team Head Coach – U12 Devo

About the role

The Ski Team Segment Development U12 Head Coach (Ski) oversees a specific age class, segment or sub-segment of a ski or snowboard discipline within Team Palisades Tahoe (TPT). The Segment Head Coach contributes to the overall success of Team Palisades Tahoe in accordance with the Mission and Vision as measured by the quality of the athlete and employee experience, retention, athlete success, and parent satisfaction. This position works directly with a Department or Age Class Program Manager and a Senior Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a specific age class, segment or sub-segment of a ski or snowboard discipline within Team Palisades Tahoe (TPT)
• Contribute to the overall success of Team Palisades Tahoe in accordance with the Mission and Vision
• Measure success through the quality of the athlete and employee experience, retention, athlete success, and parent satisfaction
• Work directly with a Department or Age Class Program Manager and a Senior Manager

Requirements

• Experience coaching at the U12 level or equivalent
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of ski or snowboard disciplines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., sports science, education, physical education)
• Professional certifications in coaching or related fields (e.g., NSCA-CSCS, USPA Level 3)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
