About the Role

Ski School Support Staff employees work in a fun, high-paced indoor/outdoor environment supporting all functions of ski/snowboard school operations outside of instruction. The role involves high guest interaction, supporting children's programming, rental operations, guest check-in/out, lesson scanning, and lesson area lift operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support children’s ski school throughout the day by participating in a variety of activities, including:
    • Determining proper size for ski or snowboard boots for children
    • Setting ski or snowboard equipment to proper settings
    • Scanning ski school students to confirm they have a ticket and lesson booked
    • Answering guest questions about drop-off/pickup locations, lesson purchases, and daily expectations
  • Work with instructors and supervisors to manage young children (ages 3-6) outside on the snow in the beginner area during lessons
  • Assist children (ages 3-6) with bathroom breaks to avoid interrupting lessons
  • Help children on or off the magic carpet (a conveyor belt for beginners)
  • Monitor or operate the magic carpet
  • Assist children during lunch or when they need to be brought inside due to illness or unhappiness
  • Set up the lunch area and assist with post-lunch kitchen cleanup
  • Perform other duties as needed, including working on the snow in the beginner area for several hours daily to help instructors manage classes of young children (ages 3-6)

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced, service-based environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills with guests and employees
  • Strong computer skills, including typing and data entry
  • Early childhood care experience preferred
  • Ski or snowboarding experience preferred (to assist lessons as necessary)
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must successfully pass a background check

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $20.00/hr – $31.00/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
  • Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
