Ski School Snowboard Instructor | Full Time Seasonal

About the role

Teaches snowboarding techniques in group or individual settings, tailored to customer skill levels, following resort and AASI guidelines. Must be energetic, outgoing, and able to interact with guests in a friendly and fun manner, with a focus on delivering a customer-focused experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct group and private snowboard lessons in accordance with resort and AASI guidelines.
• Demonstrate and communicate proper snowboard techniques.
• Promote and model the responsibility code, safety, and risk awareness as outlined by resort safety policies.
• Familiarize and adhere to policies and procedures in the resort Handbook and Ski School Manual.
• Assist the skiing public whenever possible.
• Help organize and divide classes as needed.
• Contribute to team efforts, including job sharing, maintaining resort cleanliness, ensuring guest and employee safety, attending safety meetings, and accepting diverse assignments.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude in all internal and external interactions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to snowboard at an intermediate level or above.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
