Ski School Ski Instructor | Part Time Seasonal

About the role

Teaches the techniques of skiing, following resort and PSIA guidelines, in group or individual settings tailored to customer skill levels. Must be willing to work with children, energetic, outgoing, and able to interact with guests in a friendly and fun manner.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct both group and private ski lessons for guests in accordance with resort and PSIA guidelines.
• Demonstrate and communicate proper ski techniques.
• Promote and act as a role model for the responsibility code, safety, and risk awareness as prescribed by resort safety policies.
• Familiarize with and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the resort Handbook and Ski School Manual.
• Assist the skiing public whenever possible.
• Help organize and divide classes as needed.
• Contribute to team efforts by participating in job sharing, maintaining resort cleanliness, ensuring guest and employee safety, attending safety meetings, accepting diverse assignments, and maintaining a positive and friendly attitude in all interactions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to ski at an intermediate level or above.
