About the role
Peraton requires a Zero Trust Manager to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.
Project Managers perform oversight of planning, execution, and completion of projects in accordance with the SIE OPORD. They develop and execute against project objectives by collaborating with the customer on needs and goals, project proposals, project plans, and intermediate execution status.
Responsibilities
- Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.
- Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; and preparing cost estimates.
- Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
- Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
- Control project plans by reviewing designs, specifications, schedule changes, and recommending actions.
- Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
- Provide technical/operational leadership of a project/mission within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.
- Define, generate, and review project requirements documentation; perform technical studies to refine project requirements.
- Monitor projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience with a HS degree, 10 years with an AS/AA degree, 8 years with a BS/BA, 6 years with an MS/MA, or 3 years with a PhD.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience managing IT projects is desired.
- Must be DoD 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 802- IT Project Manager - Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 2026.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired.
Pay
Target salary range: $104,000 - $166,000. Salary is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
