About the role
The Site Trainer oversees all aspects of staff training for the sites for which this position is responsible. This includes scheduling, overseeing, and providing opportunities for required annual and continued staff training necessary for compliance with licensing regulations and ROP standards.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, oversee, and provide opportunities for required annual and continued staff training necessary for compliance with licensing regulations and ROP standards.
- Identify employees on correction/improvement plans and provide the additional training necessary to ensure the employees successfully complete the improvement plan.
- Compile, log, file, and submit training documentation for the monthly Key Performance Indicators.
- Assist with the administration of applications in the recruiting pool, assisting supervisors in screening applications and scheduling interview appointments.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a High School Diploma – Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- At least 4 years’ experience in residential youth treatment
- Be familiar with ROP procedures, policies and program implementation
- Must hold or be able to attain instructor certifications in CPR/First Aid, Crisis Intervention, Suicide Prevention, Behavior Intervention, and Essential Subjects
- Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver: possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test

- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a similar role or relevant field
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Knowledge of ROP procedures, policies, and program implementation
- Proficiency in CPR/First Aid, Crisis Intervention, Suicide Prevention, Behavior Intervention, and Essential Subjects
