Job Summary
The Site Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our organization's technological infrastructure. Work closely with other Information Services teams and project stakeholders to ensure that MDH systems are reliable, secure, and efficient.
Job Specifications
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or 3+ years of equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and system administration
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
- ABILITIES, INTERESTS AND TEMPERAMENTS:
- Experienced in the management of both physical and logical information security systems
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Pay
Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. The expected pay range for this position is $29.84-$44.75.
