About the role

The Camellia Village Supported Independent Living Site Supervisor is a new position at BACS. This role is responsible for creating, implementing, overseeing supportive services operation, compliance, and service delivery systems to ensure all operations meet necessary requirements based on regulation, accreditation, law, public policy, and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

  • Supportive services are the hallmark of this position and require a deep understanding of, and commitment to, evidence-based practices. Staff are expected to build strong therapeutic relationships through consistent engagement and the development of a therapeutic alliance with residents.
  • Core responsibilities include care coordination; developing individualized, wraparound housing and service plans based on each resident's strengths and needs; crisis de-escalation; conflict resolution; facilitating community meetings; creating therapeutic group programming and community activity calendars; fostering meaningful resident engagement; and upholding the organization's philosophy of harm reduction, relentless engagement, and person-centered care.
  • Supporting the health and safety of residents, providing referrals and linkages to appropriate services, and delivering comprehensive support to individuals with complex behavioral health, housing, and social service needs.
  • Manage and provide direct therapeutic care coordination and bill compliant and eligible services to Medi-Cal. Hold a caseload of participants you are responsible for supporting to ensure housing sustainability.
  • Supervise care coordinators on various shifts who are responsible for providing therapeutic supportive services in a deeply affordable housing environment. Ensure revenue generation, Medi-Cal eligibility of all residents, monitoring of authorizations, supportive services case management notes.
  • Full suite site management of BACS Program, Administrative, and Residential/housing sites to include: Rent collection at minimum of 95%, intakes, discharges in collaboration with supportive services coordinator and Landlord/tenant law and regulation enactment and must have knowledge of landlord/tenant law.
  • Conducts site inspections regularly and to the Director’s schedule to ensure all facilities are well kept, welcoming, safe, and healthy and meet the BACS’ standard of welcoming and beautification.
  • Facilities and fleet management: handles maintenance tickets/coordination, supervise maintenance staff, vendors for facilities management and tracks and recommends invoice approval after checking the work is competent and completed.
  • Acts as welcoming and design specialist to ensure culturally responsive, warm, welcoming, and standardized spaces.
  • Quality Assurance: implements a quality assurance program that oversees regulations, laws, and other external requirements to assure that all services operate within and exceed standards for all property management files. Maintain and have computer sophistication to work with property management software program for a completely electronic system.
  • Lease up new sites and lease units that become vacant within 72 hours of vacancy.
  • Performs data analysis and management reporting.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2-3 years of property management of one or more properties or real estate development required.
  • AA/Bachelor Degree in Real Estate Management, Law, Social Science or Business Administration preferred.
  • Position requires a valid California driver’s license, personal vehicle, and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage. DMV printout required.
  • Extensive Bay Area Travel required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hightly competitive compensation, AA/Bachelor's Degree salary $90,000 per year, exempt. No Bachelor's degree salary $80,000 per year, exempt.
