About the role

Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Independent Living Supervisor to oversee overnight shifts, ensuring the supervision, training, and leadership of staff working with disadvantaged youth.

Additional Details: The role involves working in both office and dormitory settings, requiring physical activity such as reading, communicating, and occasional lifting. The supervisor must be adaptable to flexible schedules and potential conflicts with students.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support staff
• Conduct candidate screening and interviews
• Participate in behavior management panels
• Complete documentation
• Order supplies
• Collaborate with recreation and staff to organize student events
• Meet with counselors and instructors to discuss student progress
• Manage staff scheduling to ensure policy compliance
• Plan and oversee overtime and on-call staffing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum one year of youth and supervisory experience
