About the role

The Medical Group Site Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned medical practice clinics under the direction of the Director.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates daily operations of assigned practices.
• Works and collaborates with physician(s) to ensure efficient operations.
• Completes assigned work within the scheduled time frame.
• Participates in departmental/hospital committees, performance improvement projects, educational offerings, and mentoring/precepting of new team members.
• Attends staff meetings, completes required competencies, and fulfills mandatory education assignments.
• Conducts regular facility reviews for Environment of Care (EOC) surveys.
• Ensures staff compliance with UF CFH policies, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards; maintains current licenses and permits and updates as needed.
• Ensures excellent patient/customer service as measured by departmental service scores; conducts regular rounding on patients, customers, and staff; utilizes service recovery as necessary.
• Serves as a floater for the clinic to fill vacancies as needed and within the scope of the position.
• Engages staff and fosters a positive team environment; applies policies fairly and consistently and takes corrective action when needed.
• Is well-versed in CMS incentive payment programs to ensure compliance for employed physician practices.
• Provides staff education for new employees and ongoing education for current employees.
• Tracks and submits a list of supplies needed for outpatient clinics while maintaining financial responsibilities of budgets.
• Completes other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (not required).
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
