About the role

The Medical Group Site Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned medical practice clinics under the direction of the Director.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates daily operations of assigned practices.
• Works and collaborates with physicians to ensure efficient operations.
• Completes assigned work within the scheduled time frame.
• Participates in departmental/hospital committees, performance improvement projects, educational offerings, and mentoring of new team members.
• Attends staff meetings, completes required competencies, and fulfills mandatory education assignments.
• Conducts regular facility reviews for Environment of Care (EOC) surveys.
• Ensures staff compliance with UF CFH policies, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards; maintains current licenses and permits.
• Ensures excellent patient/customer service as measured by departmental service scores; conducts regular rounding on patients, customers, and staff.
• Utilizes service recovery as necessary and serves as a floater for the clinic to fill vacancies within the scope of the position.
• Engages staff to create a positive team environment, applying policies fairly and consistently.
• Knowledgeable in CMS incentive payment programs to ensure compliance for employed physician practices.
• Provides staff education for new employees and ongoing training for current employees.
• Tracks and submits supply lists for outpatient clinics while maintaining budgetary responsibilities.
• Completes other duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Qualifications

• Preferred certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (not required).
