Site Supervisor
About the role
This position is contingent on contract award and involves travel to Fairchild AFB WA and CONUS/OCONUS locations. The Supervisor will oversee daily team operations, acting as a clear link between team and upper management.
Responsibilities
- Leads and coordinates the team.
- Responds to customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Develops local operating instructions, flight operation procedures, ground operation procedures.
- Develops workbook containing specific step-by-step instructions to accomplish the work with all technical data.
- Submits reports as required.
- Ensures team complies with safety requirements, Environmental Protective Agency (EPA), and occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
- Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- US citizen with a valid driver's license.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in any avionics or electrical aircraft-related discipline, preferably KC-135.
- Valid passport.
- Strong communication skills and excellent written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of inspection processes and quality control.
- Able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The working conditions require the ability to work in tight/awkward and high spaces, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). This position must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as well as have the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Physical requirements of the position may also include, but are not limited to, bending, twisting, and lifting and climbing.
