About the role
Plum’s Project Supervisor provides on-site operational and technical support using knowledge of natural gas equipment and large-scale industrial projects. The role involves collaborating with customers, vendors, and other parties to stage equipment, perform mechanical repairs, and troubleshoot operational issues with natural gas equipment. The Project Supervisor serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance onsite to ensure proper commissioning and operation of the Company’s equipment. Extensive travel may be required, up to 70% regionally to customer sites, averaging 20 days a month onsite.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical service and customer support in the field, including setup, mobilization/demobilization, and operational support & maintenance of natural gas equipment such as pressure regulation systems, line heaters, gas conditioning equipment, and other related equipment.
- Serve as the main point of contact with customers and site supervisors, providing status updates and managing change order requests and site updates.
- Track and communicate delivery timelines and installation dates with customers and internal teams.
- Perform equipment checks and preventative maintenance on natural gas equipment.
- Monitor operating equipment using SCADA telemetry systems to identify performance issues.
- Collaborate with the operational and technical support team to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Identify and maintain spare parts and equipment inventory for given projects.
- Keep detailed time sheets and work orders to ensure accurate billing to customers.
- Document service and maintenance activities, including service reports, parts usage, and equipment records.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to travel up to 100% of the time or more.
- Complete all mandatory safety training and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Program.
- Provide technical training and guidance to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or 5+ years of relevant work experience, required.
- Associate’s degree in engineering technology or a related field is a plus.
- Five (5) or more years of experience working with natural gas equipment.
- Proven experience as a Project Supervisor or in a related role on large industrial sites.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license, required.

Safety certification training will be provided upon hire:
- Safe Land
- H2S for Oil & Gas
- CPR, AED, First Aid
- Handling Hazardous Materials
