Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations. The role is based in Winnemucca, NV and supports Securitas’ corporate values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Responsibilities

• Train Security Officers and other company personnel; review post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives, ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required.
• Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Perform supervisory duties per company policies and state/federal law, which may include interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and making hiring and termination recommendations.
• As assigned, perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in pre‑employment screening (drug test and background investigation).
• Knowledge of security operations with emphasis on patrol, inspection, and response services.
• Valid Nevada Guard Card.
• Valid Nevada Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• OSHA certification.
• 1 year of security experience.
• 1 year of supervisor experience.

Pay

Wage: $24.00 per hour. $300 sign‑on bonus after 30 days for candidates who possess a valid Nevada Guard Card, Nevada Driver's License, and OSHA certification. Pay is issued weekly.
