This role requires a deep understanding of land viability for data center projects, rigorous assessment of power, buildability, and permitting, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Understand permitting requirements at each site and their implications for the construction schedule.
  • Maintain relationships with brokers, landowners, and developers to ensure a valid site is never missed, and conduct vendor due diligence including on-site audits with specialist engineers.
  • Partner with DC Design to keep sites matched to the latest technical requirements, and own capacity planning and forecasting across clients and regions.
  • Work directly with Finance on multi-year infrastructure investment and cost structures, and lead commercial negotiations with landowners and developers.

Requirements

You have worked in real estate with a focus on data centers or other large industrial projects, and you have closed large, complex deals. You assess land viability for data center development fast and rigorously: power, buildability, and permitting. You bring a customer-centric mindset, strong ownership, and proactive problem-solving. You align stakeholders across diverse internal and external teams, and you travel 20%+ as projects require.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate or similar project management roles.
  • Experience with data center development and land acquisition.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven track record of successful land deals and partnerships.

  • Understanding of permitting and regulatory processes.
  • Project management and stakeholder alignment.
  • Customer-centric approach and proactive problem-solving.
