Responsibilities
- Professionally interact with and escort employees, visitors, contractors, government officials, VIPs, and members of the public while ensuring compliance with site security procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and communicating effectively with employees, guests, and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
- Foster a safe, secure, and welcoming environment through positive engagement and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Maintain composure, sound judgment, and self-control during stressful, emergency, or high-pressure situations while responding appropriately to security-related concerns.
- Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities by preparing clear, concise, thorough, and detailed reports in English.
- Collaborate with site personnel and leadership to support security operations and achieve mission objectives.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support site, client, and operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of security, law enforcement, military, or related protective services experience required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to read, understand, interpret, and apply written policies, post orders, procedures, training materials, and instructions in English.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Successfully pass all required medical evaluations, physical fitness requirements, and background screening processes.
- Meet all Government-mandated requirements, including the medical, physical readiness, training, and access authorization standards outlined in 10 CFR Part 1046 for Protective Force Personnel.
- Have no history of illegal drug use, possession, sale, or manufacture within the previous five years.
- Must have no felony convictions and no criminal convictions that could impact reliability, trustworthiness, or eligibility for employment, including offenses identified under the Lautenberg Act.
- Previous experience monitoring security systems, surveillance equipment, alarms, and dispatch operations is preferred.
- Strong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to assess and respond appropriately to evolving situations.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-stress, emergency, and time-sensitive environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare accurate and detailed reports.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors, government officials, and the public.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team in a security-focused environment.
