About the role

Construction Safety Superintendent – Night Shift candidates will be part of the safety management department supporting construction operations in Texas City, TX. The role involves leading safety initiatives, ensuring compliance, and fostering a safe working environment on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on construction sites.
• Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Provide safety training to construction crews and subcontractors to promote safety awareness and compliance.
• Investigate accidents and near‑miss incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain safety records and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification.
• Previous experience in construction safety management with strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to respond quickly to safety concerns.
