Site Safety Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day safety compliance and enforcement on an active heavy electrical construction site, serving as the on-site expert on OSHA regulations and risk mitigation
- Conduct daily site walkthroughs, hazard checks, and inspections while partnering with foremen and superintendents to keep every work area safe
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, deliver findings to leadership within 72 hours, and drive corrective/preventive action plans
- Design and deliver ongoing safety training, including new hire orientations and job-specific safety coaching
- Partner with project teams to develop Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and job-specific safety plans
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of construction safety field experience
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA and governmental ES&H standards and regulations
- Demonstrated experience conducting accident investigations and implementing corrective actions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with both field and leadership teams
- Proven ability to collaborate with employees at all levels, regulatory agencies, insurance carriers, and vendors
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (OSHA 500 preferred)
- First Aid / CPR certification
- Fall Protection / Competent Person certification
- CHST certification
- CIT certification

Pay
$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year (based upon experience) + bonus opportunity
Schedule
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional travel, evening/night shifts, and overtime as job demands require.
Work Location: In person and field-based; may involve exposure to weather, heights, confined spaces, and loud noise. PPE required on all job sites.
