Growing multifaceted construction and management company seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Resident Engineer to join our team in Bowling Green, OH. Relocation package and travel stipend available.

About the role

This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for a talented professional passionate about construction and engineering. The role involves overseeing and managing all technical aspects of construction projects, including design decisions, compliance, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all technical aspects of construction projects, including civil, structural, architectural, and MEP design decisions.
  • Conduct regular BIM reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of construction plans.
  • Utilize Procore and Bluebeam software to streamline construction project management and document control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety regulations on all construction sites.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to expedite design decisions and resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor and inspect construction work to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present technical reports on construction progress and any issues encountered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in expediting design decisions across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
  • Proficiency in BIM reviews, Procore, and Bluebeam.
  • Certification in OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various construction professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
  • Ability to prepare and present technical reports on construction progress and issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

Pay

$160,000 - $170,000 per year
