Growing multifaceted construction and management company seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Resident Engineer to join our team in Bowling Green, OH. Relocation package and travel stipend available.
About the role
This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for a talented professional passionate about construction and engineering. The role involves overseeing and managing all technical aspects of construction projects, including design decisions, compliance, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all technical aspects of construction projects, including civil, structural, architectural, and MEP design decisions.
- Conduct regular BIM reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of construction plans.
- Utilize Procore and Bluebeam software to streamline construction project management and document control processes.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety regulations on all construction sites.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to expedite design decisions and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor and inspect construction work to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare and present technical reports on construction progress and any issues encountered.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in expediting design decisions across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
- Proficiency in BIM reviews, Procore, and Bluebeam.
- Certification in OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various construction professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Ability to prepare and present technical reports on construction progress and issues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

Pay
