Site Reliability / Operations Engineer (TS/SCI)
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation solutions in Linux environments.
- Create and enhance Bash scripts to automate system administration, application log gathering, metrics displays.
- Develop and maintain job orchestration tools for data flows.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Kibana.
- Support Elasticsearch data ingestion, indexing, and search optimization activities.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and mission stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Aid in log analysis, troubleshooting, and operational reporting.
- Document automation processes, procedures, and technical configurations.
- Participate in system testing, deployment, and sustainment activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to monitoring, observability, and automation.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Security+ Certification.
- 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering, automation, DevOps, software development or related technical roles.
- Experience working with Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar).
- Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and system administration tasks.
- Experience with the ELK Stack, including:
- Elasticsearch
- Kibana dashboard development
- Logstash or data ingestion pipelines
- Familiarity with system monitoring, log aggregation, and operational analytics.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, operating systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Experience supporting cloud or hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in DoD, Intelligence Community, or other classified environments.
- Experience working in Agile development.
Pay

Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range.
