Site Reliability Engineer
About the role
Nebius is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Hardware Infrastructure to join our dynamic team. This position is based in Amsterdam but offers primarily remote work with occasional travel to data centers.
Responsibilities
- Serving functional and load testing system
- Maintain monitoring of engineering equipment such as power supply, air and water cooling
- Maintain monitoring of IT equipment like racks, servers, JBODs, JBOGs, power shelves, network devices, etc.
- Track asset tracking
- Perform hardware repairs tasks tracking
- Support server production
- Ensure fault-tolerance, scale and uninterrupted operations for our services
- Implement and improve CI/CD processes using cutting-edge technology to solve infrastructure problems
Requirements
- Proficiency in Linux systems
- Expertise in Python and Bash scripting for automation
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, including hardware, software, and networking problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing system performance
Qualifications
- Working proficiency in English
- Desire to be involved in backend development
- Experience designing, developing, and running high-load distributed systems
