HybridEngineeringFull-time
About The Role
The role focuses on the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical infrastructure platforms hosting high-throughput, low-latency microservices. The engineer will bridge the gap between software development and systems engineering, ensuring production workloads remain highly available. The team manages multi-region Kubernetes clusters on public cloud infrastructure. This position owns the architectural patterns for observability, deployment pipelines, and disaster recovery, directly impacting the developer velocity and system uptime of the entire engineering organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and maintain secure multi-tenant infrastructure on AWS using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Manage and scale production Kubernetes clusters (EKS), optimizing resource allocation, network policies, and cluster ingress
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ensuring secure and predictable application deployments
- Design and implement comprehensive observability platforms using Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger to track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs)
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation, conducting blameless post-mortems and implementing automated self-healing remediation steps
- Optimize cloud spend and system performance through architectural reviews, load testing, and systematic bottleneck identification
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering roles supporting high-scale production environments
- Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration and scripting in Python, Go, or Bash
- Production-level experience with Kubernetes orchestration, including Helm charts and operator patterns
- Hands-on expertise with infrastructure-as-code tools, specifically Terraform, and cloud platform services within AWS or GCP
- Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and VPC configurations
- Bonus: Experience with service meshes (Istio/Linkerd), GitOps workflows (ArgoCD), or database administration at scale
