If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you. the achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: The Site Readiness Manager is responsible for assessing, preparing, and monitoring supplier and manufacturing site readiness to ensure successful execution of customer commitments, production schedules, and operational objectives. This role serves as a liaison between suppliers, operations, procurement, quality, and customer teams to proactively identify risks and drive corrective actions before they impact delivery, quality, or capacity performance. The Site Readiness Manager evaluates operational capability, workforce readiness, production planning, material availability, process controls, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure suppliers and manufacturing sites are prepared to meet business requirements. What Will You Do Operational Readiness Conduct site readiness assessments at supplier and manufacturing locations.Evaluate production capacity, labor availability, equipment readiness, and process capability.Verify manufacturing plans support customer demand requirements.Assess production startup readiness for new programs or rate increases.Monitor progress against readiness milestones and implementation plans. Risk Identification & Mitigation Identify, track, mitigate and escalate as needed critical issues and risks related to delivery, quality, materials, staffing, and capacity. Lead recovery planning activities for underperforming sites. Supplier Performance Management Assess supplier operational performance and readiness for future demand.Review production schedules, backlog, WIP, capacity loading, and resource planning.Validate suppliers have effective visual management and performance tracking systems.Ensure suppliers maintain clear-to-build status and material readiness. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Procurement, Supplier Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Customer teams.Facilitate readiness reviews and business assessments.Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and operational reviews.Align site improvement priorities with customer requirements. Continuous Improvement Promote Lean manufacturing and operational excellence principles.Drive corrective actions and systemic improvements. Reporting & Communication Prepare readiness assessment reports and executive summaries.Communicate site status, risks, and recovery plans to leadership.Develop scorecards and dashboards to track readiness performance.Maintain accurate records of site visits and action items. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supplier management, operations, quality, or supply chain.Experience conducting supplier assessments and operational reviews.Strong understanding of production planning, capacity management, and manufacturing processes.Ability to travel frequently to supplier and manufacturing sitesDue to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen Pay Range: $76K to $80K Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. Work Requirements This role is considered on-site position in Windsor Locks CT You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Travel requirements: Travel as required. Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
