Essential Functions
- Plan, execute, and report on internal audits of the Quality Management System (QMS) and operational processes (e.g., production, warehousing, maintenance) to verify compliance with documented procedures and ISO standards.
- Perform detailed, scheduled, and unscheduled inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to confirm they meet quality specifications.
- Review batch records, inspection reports, and other quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Document audit findings and non-conformances, and follow up with process owners to ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective actions.
- Stay current with relevant regulations and standards, ensuring site practices are compliant.

Work Environment
- Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, normally working 8 hours per day. This position may require overtime.
Travel
- This position has no travel requirements.
Required Education And Experience
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or auditing role.
- A strong knowledge of auditing principles and techniques.
- The ability to use various measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
Preferred Education And Experience
- An Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- Computer Operations Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Credential).
