About the role

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Site Pacs Admin to join our imaging team at our University of Minnesota Medical Center East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN!

Responsibilities

• Administer the day-to-day operations of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
• Act as a liaison and member of the IT Imaging team
• Report to the Imaging Services Manager but may receive general direction from the Director of Imaging, Chief Radiologist and the IT Imaging Support Manager
• Oversight and coordination of existing and new PACS and digital imaging initiatives
• Maintain and order diagnostic workstation hardware
• Troubleshoot modality PACS communication configurations

Requirements

• 2 year technical degree or 2 years experience in a PACS Admin or IT position
• 5 years clinical radiology experience with technical DICOM experience
• Strong IT networking background
• PACS Admin experience in IT end-point operations/IT field engineer/desktop support

Pay

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.

Schedule

This role is responsible for working Monday through Friday from 8AM - 4:30PM with an on-call rotation.
