Engineering and Design
- Provide designs and prepare Summary of Work packages for maintenance type construction subcontracts and Change Notice revisions.
- Develop Corrective Maintenance plans for major repetitive tasks, including component replacements, and specify the required products and resources.
- Perform and support failure analysis.
Technical Support
- Review design of capital additions and changes in site layout to ensure full maintainability of equipment, utilities, and facilities.
- Apply value analysis to make maintenance decisions regarding repairs/replacements and redesigns.
- Support Operations, Procurement, Maintenance, ES&H, and Quality Assurance on projects under construction.
- Lead Readiness Review Board (RRB) meetings as needed.
- Participate in and lead Pre-Construction and Pre-Bid Meetings as required.
Configuration Management
- Prepare Engineering Change Requests/Proposals for revisions to the program baseline and submit to appropriate change boards.
- Perform configuration management functions to facilitate implementation, readiness review boards, and close-out of ECP’s.
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
- Aid Site Maintenance in planning, scheduling, analyzing, and maintaining databases of vibration and fluid analysis for the Predictive Maintenance Program.
- Provide technical review, direction, and routing of preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Additional Duties
- Support Configuration Management and Technical Data Center duties and requirements as per the process/procedure.
- Prepare or participate in the preparation of training material.
- Attend meetings (Monthly Safety Council, Controlled Evacuation Committee, and other meetings as required).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in the petroleum/petrochemical industry and plant engineering.
- Essential experience in instruments and controls.
Desired
- Professional Engineering license.
- Mechanical integrity and Predictive Maintenance experience.
