Responsibilities

• General Operations management
• Evaluate post orders and make necessary updates
• Review daily log reports and provide direction to shift-level supervisors
• Ensure security team meets company standards
• Implement security programs
• Enforce physical security measures and practices
• Design and implement career development and performance improvement programs
• Administer Safety Program
• Monitor compliance with regulatory and fire prevention requirements
• Conduct monthly testing of security systems
• Manage attendance and conflict resolution
• Implement methods to reduce overtime
• Oversee the development and cross-training of security team members

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws
• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in operational management
• Experience in supervising emergency preparedness and response procedures
• Experience implementing corporate security directives
• Experience managing security personnel and conducting risk assessments
• Experience leading a diverse team of security personnel
• Proven ability to make decisions independently based on security operational guidelines
• Advanced relationship building skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately
• Ability to identify critical issues and compile, sort, and interpret data
• Proven ability to mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy
