Site Manager, Laboratory & Facilities

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site leader responsible for daily operations and resident experience
  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and building ownership
  • Manage laboratory operations, shared equipment, consumables, and service providers
  • Oversee EHS, biosafety, chemical management, and regulatory compliance activities
  • Cook up facility maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, and work orders
  • Lead and develop on-site staff while partnering with corporate operations and finance teams
  • Own site budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and operations

Qualifications

  • Required Skills:
    • 3+ years of experience in laboratory operations, facilities management, or life science operations
    • Hands-on experience with EHS, lab safety, chemical management, or biosafety programs
    • Prowess in managing vendors and juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with both scientific and business stakeholders
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently
