About the role

The Site Leader oversees and manages the overall operations of the assigned location(s), ensuring that all Company policies are maintained, current, and enforced. This role involves protecting the interests of the Company, growing the business, and providing specialized leadership, training, and support to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Spend time in the unit daily, observing and coaching the team to increase memberships and maintain superior guest experience while up-selling to increase volume.
  • Participate in meetings with VP and FBC, lead weekly meetings with Assistant Team Leader, conduct monthly meetings with entire team, provide specialized leadership, training, and support to every Assistant Team Leader, promote growth, coach all team members when necessary, communicate daily with every Assistant Team Leader via phone, in person.
  • Accurately track and handle invoices for payment, record invoice costs in Management App, ensure that all personnel-related paperwork is kept locked, current, and compliant, update all recorders in ADP.
  • Teach Assistant Team Leaders how to professionally interview and hire the best candidates that will represent Tommy’s brand and core values, work with all Leaders regarding hiring needs.
  • Work with each Leader to identify and develop Team Members for future consideration as Leaders, ensure a safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained business operation, maintain a passing score on Quartey site inspections, conduct effective interviews to hire the best candidates that will represent Tommy’s brand and core values, work with VP of ops and FBC to develop and implement a 12-month marketing calendar for your locations in addition to the franchise agreed upon marketing and promotional programs from Tommy’s corporate.
  • Monitor performance of outside vendors to be sure standards and image requirements are being met, address any issues and correct, conduct any banking necessary.
  • Perform all POS and computer related systems tasks, take the leading role as the “face of the company” in all media and marketing roles.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained business operation, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust equipment, quickly react to sales forecasts and trends to continue to grow sales and memberships.
  • Available to team members via phone for guidance while not on site, retain and create new Member/Guest relations, must be proficient in all opening and closing tasks, must be available to open the store or close 7 days a week, responsible for compliance of operating hours, maintain Site, Grounds & Car Wash, update checklists, inventory and reports as needed, maintain proper inventory levels, parts and supplies to effectively operate the wash, communicate good news, bad news, breakdowns, etc. with Leadership and team members.
  • Implement & Enforce policies, procedures and the handbook to all Team Members, conduct job performance reviews efficiently and on time, coach and counsel team members on positive performance and areas of improvement.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ retail management experience; proven leadership ability.
  • Must possess superior communication skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative with strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and ethics, both personal and professional.
  • Vast experience managing a diverse staff of both full, part-time and seasonal employees.
