Site Leader - Reverse Logistics, Distributed Network
Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Site Leader in Amazon’s Reverse Logistics (ReLo) network, which processes customer returns and determines the appropriate disposition (e.g., reselling or donating the item).
About the role
In this role, you will lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly talent, engaging them during shifts to maintain high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will provide tools for success while driving improvements in productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving. You will also ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location.
Our operations workflow includes three major components: First mile (product storage), Middle mile (order transport), and Last mile (delivery to the customer). While workflows may vary slightly, our focus remains on customer dedication.
Responsibilities
- Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce
- Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
- Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
- Collaborate with support teams (Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources) to meet business objectives
- Manage relationships with senior leadership at the host Sort Center location
Requirements
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
- Work in environments with variable noise levels and temperatures (including outdoor loading areas)
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (where applicable)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
- Experience managing a team of 2+ salaried employees and 70+ indirect employees
- Experience scoping, leading, and implementing process improvements through Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
Pay
Base salary range: $100,100 – $150,000 USD annually (location: USA, NJ, Teterboro). Your compensation package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
