About the role

The Operations Manager at OnTrac is a dynamic position that requires a strong leader with a passion for logistics and customer service. Reporting to the General Manager, this role oversees and optimizes day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel and implement strategic processes
• Sustain a positive work culture within the warehouse
• Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services
• Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and report to Regional Operations and General Managers
• Coach, develop, reward, recognize, and manage staff productivity
• Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with vendors and independent contractors for accountability to the operating agreement

Requirements

• GED/Diploma required, bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
• 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired
• Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills
• Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
• Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical work experience to contribute quickly to maintenance, repair, and inspection work
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements in daily work practices
• Flexible schedule to support 24-hour operations, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays when needed
• Dependable and adaptable to support business needs, staffing needs, and workload shifts

Pay

The expected starting base pay range for this position is $92,400 - $115,500, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $115,500- $138,600. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Washington state employees are eligible for up to 56 hours of paid sick leave annually. The salary range above represents the national range for this position.
