About the role
The Operations Manager at OnTrac is a dynamic position that requires a strong leader with a passion for logistics and customer service. Reporting to the General Manager, this role oversees and optimizes day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Manage personnel and implement strategic processes
- Sustain a positive work culture within the warehouse
- Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services
- Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and report to Regional Operations and General Managers
- Coach, develop, reward, recognize, and manage staff productivity
- Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with vendors and independent contractors for accountability to the operating agreement
Requirements
- GED/Diploma required, bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
- 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired
- Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills
- Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
- Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite
Qualifications
- Must have mechanical work experience to contribute quickly to maintenance, repair, and inspection work
- Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements in daily work practices
- Flexible schedule to support 24-hour operations, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Dependable and adaptable to support business needs, staffing needs, and workload shifts

Pay
The expected starting base pay range for this position is $92,400 - $115,500, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $115,500- $138,600. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM

This position is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, unless otherwise specified in the job posting.

Washington state employees are eligible for up to 56 hours of paid sick leave annually. The salary range above represents the national range for this position.
