About the Role

Gopuff is seeking a Site Leader to join the Field Operations team. We are looking for a self-starting and entrepreneurial leader. The Site Leader role is an exciting and fast-paced position that requires drive, grit, positivity, and enthusiasm for the challenge. In this role, you will lead a local team of Shift Leaders, Field Operations Associates, and independent Driver Partners, overseeing the facility’s operations. The success of the territory depends on your ability to execute and lead a team focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience. We prioritize our customers above all else.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee all facility operations, including deliveries, inventory, equipment, and systems.
• Drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Order Picking Time, Order Dwell Time, Drive Time, Order Defect Rate, and Cost Per Order.
• Ensure financial performance by meeting budgeted productivity, labor, and expense targets.
• Maintain compliance with Gopuff policies, legal procedures, and regulations by analyzing and interpreting reports.
• Implement and monitor Human Resource compliance, asset protection, safety controls, and operational quality assurance reviews.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve performance and guide the management team on confidentiality and documentation.
• Train site leadership on expense and labor control to adhere to budgets and sales volume.
• Create and implement plans to enhance the financial performance of the facility.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment leading a workforce, preferably in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in conflict resolution, team development, and engagement.
• Ability to lead in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and efficiencies.
• Flexibility to work fluid schedules, including peak hours (5 PM - 3 AM), weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, walk, and lift up to 49 pounds during shifts.
• Professional fluency in Spanish preferred.

Pay

Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing. For Chicago, IL, the salary range is $63,000 - $86,625. Compensation varies by location and is based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. These ranges may be adjusted in the future.
