Site Health Safety & Environment Manager
Job Description
Report to Project Manager iwth functional reporting to Corporate Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager
Ensure the implementation of the Project HSE Plan
Liaise with the Project Manager and Site Manager on HSW issue
Conduct site HSE audits, inspections and site walkdowns
Identify and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions
Review and advise on JHA's and risk assessments together with the Site Manager
Assist the Site Manager with Permit to Work system implementation
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive action plans
Provide HSE training, induction training, toolbox talks, and onboarding sessions for site personnel
Report all incidents to KVI and client HSE representatives
Monitor and report HSE performance metrics to senior management and to corporate HSE
Report HSE lessons learned to Corporate HSE
Ensure that all statutory HSE requirements are identified, implemented and communicated
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
Over 5 years of experience working on construction project sites or managing programs within the energy, manufacturing, oil, or gas industries. Experience in health and safety management for large-scale service projects is highly preferred.
Completion of the OSHA 510 course is required; OSHA 500 certification or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant U.S. safety/environmental regulations
Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Working Conditions
Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
