About the role

Welcome to Love’s! At Love’s, The Site General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, profitability, and overall success of a truck stop facility. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, optimizing fuel and retail sales, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The General Manager must be a hands-on leader, capable of multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of fuel sales, retail, convenience store, restaurant, and other on-site services.
• Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing, promotions, and customer service.
• Hire, train, and supervise employees, including cashiers, maintenance staff, and restaurant personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding fuel, food service, and employment.
• Implement and enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

Requirements

• 3+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
• 3+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+million.
• 3+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 3+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.

Skills

• Ability to navigate various computer programs, systems, and technology tools as part of daily operations.
• Must be able to talk, hear, move around, lift up to 50 pounds, and see clearly to perform job duties.
