Responsibilities
- Participates in site management meetings and explains results with financial KPI insights.
- Engages with the Site Management team on Finance Action Plans.
- Improves the perception of finance performance among stakeholders (operations, sales, etc.).
- Writes a monthly report for the Group Segment/Business Unit to explain site performance regarding business results and cash flow (compared to previous year, forecasts, or budget) and follows the site investment plan.
- Assists the Site Director in optimizing costs and improving cash flow, then implements and monitors action plans using appropriate metrics.
- Participates in investment case studies and validates financial calculations.
- Supervises the production of the budget for relevant sites in accordance with Group Segment/Business Unit directions and implements relevant reports/metrics.
- Prepares regular forecasts and participates in re-costing of products/items, including monthly analysis of standard cost variances.
- Carries out and checks internal Group reporting, statutory accounts, and tax returns where relevant.
- Assists with complex accounting operations, depreciations, and provisions.
- Facilitates relationships with auditors for the site under responsibility.
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents.
- Supervises cash management and bank relationships.
- Manages site taxes in collaboration with the Group Finance Department, consulting local expertise, especially for transfer pricing.
- Informs the Group Finance Department of risks relating to exchange rates and commodities.
- Manages the credit control for the site under responsibility.
- Protects organizational value by keeping information confidential.
- Approves and sets up new suppliers.
- Implements actions for internal control and prevention of significant financial and legal risks (contacts, litigation, trade barriers, guarantees, etc.).
- Participates in the management of financial services at the site (organization, recruitment, training, etc.) with the Group and Group Segment/Business Unit.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BA in Accounting or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in make-to-order or engineer-to-order environments with strong knowledge of industrial/standard cost accounting.
- Strong Excel skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data and provide meaningful insights.
- Ability to work across functional lines with all areas of the organization.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Experience with an integrated ERP system.
Pay
Salary Range: $85,000.00 – $120,000.00
