Founded in Sacramento in 1993, the firm is a fee-based, employee-centric fiduciary advisory firm with a multi-billion dollar portfolio, operating as a high-growth, private equity backed multi-branch Registered Investment Advisor.
Responsibilities
- Client Leadership & Relationship Management: Serve as a primary advisor to a high-volume client base, leading discovery conversations, planning discussions, and ongoing relationship management; demonstrate sound judgment and confidence in guiding clients through complex financial decisions; bring a forward-thinking, technology-driven mindset to client engagement, using Allworth's tools and platforms to serve a larger client base without sacrificing quality or personalization.
- Financial Planning & Advisory Delivery: Deliver comprehensive financial planning using Allworth's 7 Personal Decision Points™ framework; partner with the Wealth Planning Team and Associate Advisors to develop and present thoughtful, customized financial plans; leverage integrated services—including Estate Planning, Insurance Planning, and Tax Planning—to support holistic client outcomes; conduct regular reviews to ensure plans remain aligned with client goals and fiduciary standards.
- Office Leadership & Culture Contribution: Maintain a strong in-office presence and serve as a collaborative, engaged member of the team; lead by example in professionalism, preparation, and client experience; actively contribute to office culture, collaboration, and shared accountability; support team initiatives, mentoring, and knowledge sharing as appropriate.
- Performance & Technology Standards: Use CRM-driven cadence and prioritization tools to determine which clients to engage, and when, based on an engagement scoring model rather than instinct alone; maintain a high daily activity standard, consistently meeting call, meeting, and outreach expectations required to effectively manage a high-volume book of business; continuously seek out and adopt new technology, tools, and workflows that improve efficiency, scalability, and the client experience; participate actively in daily huddles and weekly goal-setting sessions to align on priorities, share best practices, and track progress; engage with visual management tools, including whiteboards and KPI dashboards, to track individual and team performance against activity and outcome goals; contribute ideas and feedback that help refine team processes, engagement strategies, and the use of technology across the office.
- Communication & Documentation: Communicate planning strategies, recommendations, and investment updates clearly and confidently; maintain accurate documentation and follow-up in Allworth's CRM system; provide thoughtful feedback to leadership to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- CFP® or ChFC® designation is a plus but not required.
- Must have or be willing to obtain Series 65 or 66 (Series 7 and Insurance licenses not required).
- Minimum one to three years of client-facing wealth management or financial planning experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, mentor, and model best practices.
- High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and discretion.
- Thrives in an in-office, team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable managing a high-volume client caseload, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and stay organized using technology and data.
- Embraces a data-driven, technology-forward approach to client engagement and daily activity management.
- Proficiency with financial planning tools and CRM systems (MoneyGuidePro and Salesforce preferred).
